The New Rite Of Passage At Disney Grad Nite

Wednesday, March 31st, 2010

Nothing is more exciting than the day a senior graduates. Family and friends attend the an elaborate ceremony at school providing well wishes to those who were able to earn a diploma, but to top it off, the event is frequently punctuated by the soiree thrown annually by the Disney Corporation providing those in attendance with a six and a half hour party unlike any other found on earth. In 2010 graduates can expect to see a gala unlike any held previously as, according to Disney officials, it is expected to be “the most elaborate celebration in the park’s history.” Not only will the park only be open to celebrants and their chaperons and filled with the usual non-stop fun and adventure, but Disney grad nite is also expected to be a unique celebration that will be remembered for a lifetime with celebrity performances and entertainment of a caliber never seen before.

This experience provides graduates not only with the party of a lifetime, but also allows them to identify their role as a member of a much larger community. For many it is the first opportunity they’ve ever had to remove themselves from the social clicks which usually structure their existence and mingle with those from many other sites in the U. S. Who all have the commonality of celebrating the greatest success in their lives. Many times these connection last long after the party ends and they are once again consumed by the demands of their everyday lives.

The Disneyland Corporation is well-known for the variety of theme-park adventures they provide, but for graduating seniors they are best known for how far they go beyond the norm. After the park’s official day closes, Disneyland is dedicated to the enjoyment of its celebrating seniors and, as a result, there is nothing they won’t do to please the masses. As a result, they have booked some of the top-rate performers today, have a very special fireworks display planned, and are opening more of the action-packed adventure rides so popular with the younger set. Additionally, food and music galore will keep visitors entertained throughout the night.

During the Blast Off Party one can take a terrifying plunge on the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror, go vertical on the Maliboomer, or even challenge the 360 degree spin on California Screamin’ before heading to the main park to pick up the pace on Splash Mountain, the Indiana Jones Adventure, or even Space Mountain. Additionally, multi-themed dance parties will continue at various venues in the park throughout the night.

It’s important for those attending to remember that the Disney Corporation has very strict mandates for those in attendance which are designed to ensure safety as well as an experience unlike any other on earth. Not only are grads only allowed to arrive by way of the school’s transportation system, they must also be accompanied by chaperons. Although adults strive to remain as unobtrusive as possible, their primary responsibility is to the safety of guests and, as a result, there is a zero tolerance policy at the park. Many a party reveler has found their night spent sitting among the adults at the chaperon lounge rather than experiences Disneyland is famous for with their friends.

The main park the gates open to party-goers at 10:30 pm and will remain open until grads are loaded back on their buses at 6:30 a. M. Upon entering the park one will find the parade route lit with the lights synchronized to the music of the top 40 hits from last year blasting from speakers throughout the park. A stroll down Main Street will find one running into the main dance floor located directly in front of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle which will include KIIS-FM radio. Other radio stations will be located throughout the park at key locations ensuring that grads get the opportunity to speak to the world live right from the park. Lighting will also enhance pathways leading to key attractions as well as around Pirate Lake so revelers will know just how to get to where the action is.

There are many considerations for grads as their final year in high school comes to a close, but one that should not be a hard decision is whether or not to attend this once in a lifetime gala event that is specifically designed for them. Never again will the opportunity to participate in a disney grad nite occur, so it’s important they ensure their school has already taken the necessary steps to ensure their place is secure. There is nothing worse in life than wishing one could redo a life-experience. Grad nite serves to tell the world that you have been successful and are ready to “take life by the horns.” However, before you do it’s also important to seize the moment and enjoy the day. So grab the party hat and get ready to celebrate at Disneyland!

Disney Grad Nite: A Great Way To Celebrate

Sunday, February 28th, 2010

Do you enjoy Disney theme parks? Are you a high school senior? If so, you may be able to participate in Disney Grad Nite, one of the most exciting opportunities available to grads.

Disney Grad Nite is available at both Disneyland and Walt Disney World theme parks. Thus, whether you are on the East coast or the West coast you can enjoy the exciting opportunity. Grad Nite is only available a few days out of the year, but it is worth planning the trip ahead of time.

This opportunity includes unlimited rides on Disney attractions. This includes some of Disney\’s most popular rides, including Space Mountain, Pirates of the Caribbean, and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad. Because the park is closed to the public, this can mean short lines. Only graduating high school seniors and their chaperones are allowed into the park who have signed up for the night\’s festivities. There are also many other exciting events available.

Because Grad Nite opens the park to young people, the event can serve as a fun and social event. Teens do not have to worry about parents with strollers and crying babies – they are surrounded by their own peers. This opportunity allows people to socialize and meet with people from different schools who are their own age.

Concerts within the parks are ample, and feature both popular and new artists. This helps grads to enjoy several concerts and exciting rides for the price of one ticket.

The great thing about this night is that it is both fun and safe. Because the park does not allow alcohol and other substances into the park, teens do not encounter them as they possibly would at high school parties. Disney ensures that everyone is searched ahead of time. Also, the chaperones can help keep the grads out of trouble. Most teens will be having so much fun at the event that none of this will even matter.

Disney Grad Nite is an once-in-a-lifetime opportunity for high school seniors. Unless you plan on chaperoning your children to the event in the future, there is only one time in your life that you can attend it. This means that if you want to have a great time with your friends, enjoy the excitement of having the park \”all to the seniors, \” and want to enjoy tons of concerts, you should sign up as soon as you can.

General Information About Disney Grad Nite

Saturday, February 20th, 2010

Disney Grad Nite is an exclusive event taking place either in April, May or June. It is reserved for graduation high school senior classes. This event lasts all night, and features some of today\’s most famous contemporary artists.

The first Grad night ever occurred in 1961. Back then, Disneyland California decided to invite 8000 seniors from 26 Los Angeles are schools to come celebrate at the park. To this day, students still come to party and enjoy themselves from April to June.

For those who like to dance, you will be delighted to know that there are about 4-5 dance floors through the park on Disney Grad Night. Sleeping Beauty\’s Castle\’s floor is hosted by the local radio station KISS-FM, which also sponsors two rounds of ten minutes fireworks during the night.

The entire happening lasts until 6am, with the seniors enclosed in the park until about 5am. Appropriate themes and decorations are featured all through the Magic Kingdom. The parade route as well as the rest of the park is illuminated using the facilities employed in the Fantasmic light show.

All over the park, appropriate decorations will be installed, replacing the usual ones. Main Street along with the KIIS=FM dance floor will be illuminated by thousands of the lights used in the Fantasmic parade and lights show.

Do you wish that your favorite bands and singers could be there with you? Well your wish has been granted! Live performances will also be featured from artists such as: Katy Perry, Ne-Yo, Fall Out Boy, Simple Plan and Metro Station.

With so many graduating students enjoying themselves at the same time, precautions are a must. That is why there are some rules the seniors will have to compel to, to be allowed into the excitement. All bags will be search for weapons or drugs, and an appropriate dress code will be mandatory.

But as you may suspect, no plan is fool proof. Even with regulations, some incidents did happen in the past, such as students passing out in rides, as a result of the lack of sleep. So adjustments have been made as to which attractions are safe for the partygoers.

Would you agree that this sounds like one heck of a graduating party? It sure does! Disney Grad Nite will please every one of its participants, leaving them wanting more, and allowing them to have fantastic memories from the end of high school.
