Wicked is becoming more and more popular with its stint on Broadway. This production is based off of a book written by Gregory McGuire. It is the tale of two very close friends — Glynda and Elphaba — and what separated them and brought them to the roles they played in the Wizard of Oz. Wicked’s lyrics are done and created by Stephen Schwartz; a man who put life into every word. The very soul of the story is not lost — at all — throughout the production; in fact, the combination of actors and lyrics brings the story to life even more.

His three Grammy’s and three Academy awards are proof that the man is amazing when it comes to putting a story together for all to enjoy; Wicked is just another masterpiece. This production is becoming so popular that additional venues and dates may have to be added again; tickets are getting difficult to come by.
